Amherst Survival Center's Hike for Hunger is an opportunity to get outside in nature while ensuring our neighbors have access to food! Come October, head out on the trails wherever and whenever you’d like – with your family, your friends, or your furry friends – and share your adventures. Proceeds from Hike for Hunger go directly to our food and nutrition programs, which last year provided 1.3 million meals (prepared and groceries) to nearly 8,600 neighbors. The 13th annual Will Bike 4 Food will once again take place at the Lions Club Pavilion in Hatfield, MA. This important fundraiser for The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts brings together cyclists of all levels and ages to pedal towards a hunger-free future on scenic routes through the Connecticut River Valley. Ride and fundraise individually or with a team of friends, family, or coworkers! Info and register HERE.

We very excited to be able to hold the 9th Annual Community 5K run/walk (2K walk) to benefit the Easthampton Community Center this year!! The money raised by this event has ensured that hundreds of families will have a warm meal during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Last year's event, with your help and help from our sponsors, raised $30,000 and we hope to raise the same or more again this year. This event in past years has SOLD OUT in early November. We are limiting the event to 700 total participants, so please sign up early. Info and register HERE. Not a runner? The 2k Walk is new!

Join members of the Three County CoC for an interactive session to equip yourself and your programs with a better grasp on inclusive language to support your program participants, staff, and larger community. Beginning with a primer on pronouns and other affirming language, we'll explore what it means to misgender someone, the impact of microaggressions, how we can challenge our assumptions, and feel more confident using the language people use for themselves. Info and register HERE.

MA Broadband Institute Pioneer Valley Region Listening Session: These events are an opportunity for the public to share their experiences, ideas, and vision for a connected Commonwealth. We are looking for the needs and perspectives from the city/towns within the Pioneer Valley region to attend. Participants will learn more about the two Internet for All programs and will be asked for their input to inform the development of the statewide Broadband and Digital Equity plans. Info and register HERE for September 14.
