Volunteerism is what makes the Falls Run Community such a special place to live. If you were a volunteer at any point during 2018 on a board, with a committee, club or group, I want to celebrate YOU and thank you for your service to Falls Run. Please register to join me for a wonderful Volunteer Luncheon - see the details below:

As a reminder, please set your trash cans out on the curb with the handles facing towards the house and the opening facing the street.
It's been brought to the attention of the management team that the exterior and locker room doors are being propped open. It is imperative that all of these doors remain closed to allow the Desert Air system to handle the air temperature and humidity. Please refrain from propping open any of these doors. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep the appropriate conditions for Desert Air to work properly.

If you're using the amenities at The Center, the answer is yes - this means even if you're using the tennis courts, bocce ball court, veranda, pool or horseshoe pit, you are required to scan in and out. If you have any questions, please refer to Administrative Resolution 17-04, The Community Center Rules and Regulations, section 1.3.2 Requirement to Present Card.

Set in early-1970s Harlem, If Beale Street Could Talk is a timeless and moving love story of both a couple's unbreakable bond and the African-American family's empowering embrace, as told through the eyes of 19-year-old Tish Rivers (screen newcomer KiKi Layne). A daughter and wife-to-be, Tish vividly recalls the passion, respect and trust that have connected her and her artist fiancé Alonzo Hunt, who goes by the nickname Fonny (Stephan James). Friends since childhood, the devoted couple dream of a future together but their plans are derailed when Fonny is arrested for a crime he did not commit. Through the unique intimacy and power of cinema, If Beale Street Could Talk honors the author's prescient words and imagery, charting the emotional currents navigated in an unforgiving and racially biased world as the filmmaker poetically crosses time frames to show how love and humanity endure.
