CFCE Daily Activities and Resources
Dear CFCE Families,

It is so very nice to see the signs of Spring popping up everywhere!!! The smallest plant that begins to grow, the flower blossoms that are beginning to bloom, the robins in your yard chirping away, all the baby animals being born and the sun giving us days of warmth and joy!!! All of these small things are HOPE for brighter days to come...enjoy them and let them give you HAPPINESS for today and thereafter!!!

Miss Carols Weekly: Drive by...”I SPY” RHYMING FUN!!!
These weekly adventures will have you driving to discover a mystery from clues hidden in her weekly poem!! Miss Carol will post a rhyming poem with clues as to what you are “Spying” for (looking for) and location where you will search! 
See if you can find it, and make your best guess.

Infant-Toddler Activities
See if you can make the sounds that the baby animals on the farm are making...
Are you ready to MOOOOOOO!!!
Preschool Activities
Make this adorable "Milk the Cow" using a plastic glove and a cardboard/paper cut out of a cow..your child can decorate! Click Here for full directions.
Take a squirt bottle of water and spray a paper towel until it is wet. Go around your house and give the plants a nice watering by wiping the leaves so careful and gentle with the paper towel. The plants will love it! Your PARENTS will love it too!!!
School-Age Activities
Make a journal or use a notebook that you have at your home. Each day follow the LIVE CAM of an animal- eagles, deer etc. 13 different ones and document what you see them doing each day. You can choose one, two or all thirteen!

Write down what time of the day you watch them and record what they do. So much fun to see the animals in

How Cute is this snack..and YUMMY too...
Mini Chick Crackers

  • 8 cracker crackers, whole-wheat
  • 8 ounce cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup carrots, baby
  • 8 jumbo black olives, canned
  • 1 cup spinach
  • Lay out crackers on a plate or platter.
  • Cut cheese into circles that will fit in top of crackers. The best fit will be about 1/4 inch smaller. Place cheese on crackers.
  • Cut carrots into small sticks to resemble the chicks feathers on top of his head. Cut another carrot into 24 thin rounds. 16 will be used for the feet and 8 will be cut into triangles for the beaks.
  • Cut tiny pieces from an olive to make little eyes for each chick and then place some spinach leaves under each chick for a cozy spot to rest.


P-EBT, or Pandemic EBT, is a federal program. The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA), in collaboration with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), received approval to operate this program in response to the COVID-19 related school closures. P-EBT will provide food supports to help families, with children who were receiving free and reduced-price school meals, to pay for food.

Tax Day Now July 15
On March 20, 2020, Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin announced that Tax Day has been moved from April 15 to July 15. All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties, regardless of the amount owed.

The Treasury Secretary encouraged taxpayers who might have a tax refund to file now to receive your refund.
