About Brandon Karson
Baton Rouge native, Brandon Karson, born November 17, 1993, is an actor, model and radio personality. His childhood is where he began to express himself through many different art forms. It was the abilities to act and sing that helped him through being bullied as a child. Public speaking for Brandon soon became his sole purpose, and being in front of large crowds had become normal after speaking at national conventions.
After training throughout high school & college (Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, LA.), he then began embarking on a career in broadcast as a personality; both radio and television.
In 2012 while enrolled in college, Brandon studied broadcast journalism and in his freshman year, became the host of two campus syndicated television shows. During his time in New Orleans, Brandon decided to begin working on his first on screen project as a recurring background actor on MTV's "Scream" Series. Shortly after in the summer of 2015, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a professional acting career.
In November 2015, Brandon was cast his first leading role in an LGBT YouTube web series called, "About Him". Playing the character "Damien", it was here that he began his acting career. With so much buzz behind "About Him", Brandon along with co-star Tripp Ali were approached by World Star Hit Radio to host their own entertainment radio show. The internet streamed show, "The Plug" is now currently streaming every Sunday exclusively with World Star Hip Hop Radio.
