Candy Crawl

Sunday, October 26

4:00 - 6:00 pm

Parking Lot

This is one of our favorite events! Dress in your favorite costume and meet us in the parking lot the church for trick or treating, games, face painting, and hot dogs! We are asking for volunteers to host a trunk or a table to pass out candy. Or help with a game!

Asking congregation to bring nut free candy donations to the Gathering Area.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

This year, we’re moving the date to Sunday, October 26 from 4-6 pm. We hope this will offer volunteers more time to set up and have more time for the event when it’s still daylight!

Back by popular demand, we're offering parking spots for trunks or candy station spots. We’re having classic festival games for kids too so we need extra student and adult volunteers. Bring us your BETA, NHS, or other club forms for service points! Dress up, bring your candy, and join in the fun!

Please register early to help us help you have a great event!

Youth Fall Retreat!

Get ready for a fall retreat in the Ellijay! The middle & high school will spend time together playing games and studying about God and having tons of fun! $225 per child (scholarships are available if needed.) Register asap! We have limited space!

OWLS TRIP to Holiday Lights

at Atlanta Botanical Gardens

The OWLS are headed to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for the Holiday Lights display! Join us on November 20 to get into the holiday spirit! We'll have dinner at the Bontanical Garden. $30 for tickets, $5 for gas for the bus.

Join the OWLS as they enjoy Handel's Messiah at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra! Tickets are $56, plus $5 for van. Register by November 19.

Youth Group Wednesdays

September 3 - December 10 (No meetings on fall break & Thanksgiving week.)

6:00 - 8:00 pm in Family Life Center

6th - 12th Grades

Youth meet on Wednesdays from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. We have dinner, play games, and have a whole group lesson followed by short discussions.

(No meetings the last Wednesdays of the month. In August, we'll have an outing to Sparkles for skating and in September it's the week of fall break.)

**We're looking for volunteers to provide meals for each week, but we know that sometimes the meals will need to be purchased by the church. In anticipation of this, meals will be $5 per meal or $60 per semester.

Margies Closet Coat Drive

Collecting new and gently used winter coats in October! (men’s, women’s, and children’s). Racks will be placed in the narthex for donations.
