Zen Meditation
Saturday, July 10, 10 am (starts promptly, please arrive before 10)
On the terrace at TPL; since the library does not open until 10 am, participants should park in the lower lot & follow the walkway around to the terrace.

The Zen Meditation groups invites those who are vaccinated & interested in meditation practice to join in. This will be the first meeting in person since before the pandemic. There will be no zoom component during this event.

Bring along a packed lunch to enjoy after practice.

Par 3 Golf Series
Join the Tredyffrin Township Library Foundation for a very special Golf Classic in 2021. This year’s event is a Series – three days of golf at three local clubs, all to support one great cause – your libraries! Series tickets are sold out, but participants can still choose two of our events to play in!

Each day will include lunch, 18 holes of golf, contests & cocktails. Golfers may now register for one or two events only. We are working closely with staff at each of our host clubs to ensure the health & safety of golfers at our events, following all health protocols.

Recommended for ages 8 and up: Create your own labyrinth for Theseus and the Minotaur. Related to the Mythic Hero Patch, a new patch to earn this year. Thursday is the first day for pick ups, while supplies last!

Crime Time Online: Diane Schofield
SPECIAL DATE: Monday, July 12, 7 pm

Crime Time is a meeting of true crime enthusiasts who discuss the intricacies of mysterious cases. We discuss real true crime cases which are often graphic in nature. Attendees must be 18 or older to participate.

STEMsday Kit #4 Available
Wednesday, July 14, 10 am – 7 pm

For ages 4-12. Each weekly kit is different, must be reserved separately & includes directions & supplies for a at least 3 STEM-based activities to be done at home at your convenience. No screen time involved! Most activities can be done independently by ages 8+; younger participants may need supervision/help from an adult or older sibling.
Reservations for each kit open the Wednesday prior to that kit’s availability. You will receive an email confirming your kit, which can then be claimed in our contactless pickup area.

We anticipate waiting lists each week, so reserved kits not claimed by the end of the day may be offered to wait list families. Failure to claim more than 2 kits you have reserved may result in future reservations being limited.

Page Turner Adventures
Wednesday, July 14, 1 pm

Join us for adventures on a variety of topics. Each week will be something different. Please register for the weeks you are able to attend individually. From Safari Game Shows to Becoming a Puppeteer, we will have lots of fun while learning new things. These programs are best for children age 5-9, but all children 12 & under are welcome. Children younger than 6 will need adult help.

We will provide details for each week as well as information on free crafts, if applicable.

Children will transform into Storyologists, virtually traveling through the “Once Upon a Time Machine” to explore adventures with Page Turner & Kenny. By turning the audience into the main character of the story, the shows empowers kids to become readers & writers. The performances combine slapstick, storytelling & larger-than-life props & costumes for a totally unique virtual theatrical experience.

Today's adventure is Fantastic Beasts.
Required supplies: toilet paper tube, paint/markers & a paper plate. Registrants can receive a paper plate at the TPL Children's Desk.
