By the Numbers:
Jubilee Housing celebrated its 50th Anniversary on November 14th. More than 600 guests attended the gala at National Cathedral. Sponsors and attendees raised nearly $620,000.

Now Open! - Premier Drams - 2001 18th St. - Whiskey bar Jack Rose and The Imperial have transformed the lower-level raw bar space of The Imperial into a shop selling rare spirits and sandwiches (priced $7-$13). Open Wednesday to Sunday. Check out the sandwich menu and food pix:

Roofers Returning! - Roofers Union - 2446 18th St. - After closing on November 19th, the owners of nearby Code Red announced on December 11th that they will soon take over operations of Roofers Union with a grand reopening planned for early 2024.

Coming Soon! - Maison - 1834 Columbia Rd. - The owners of Lapis, Lucite and Pascual plan to open a 190-seat French restaurant in the former Habana Village space. Coming next Spring.
Expanding! - Duccini’s of Adams Morgan/Florida Ave is opening a second location — in Shaw in the space below Ivy and Coney.
Temporarily Closed until Spring! - Alfresco Tap and Grill - 2009 18th St. - The 8-month old restaurant “temporarily closed to regroup and reorganize” on December 1st. Management states that “we will see you again in a few months, with our new Spring menu and cocktail program.”

Plans Halted! - Bubbies Plant Burgers & Fizz - Two years ago, the plant-based diner announced plans to expand to 2412 18th St. in Adams Morgan. A representative confirmed to me that expansion plans have been abandoned for now.

Coming Soon! - Foxtrot - 1827 Adams Mill Rd. - The boutique, corner-store chain aims to open this month. The store offers chef-prepared meals, snacks, every essentials, local beers and fine wine.
