In 2011, John Bell was involved in a traumatic motorcycle accident, leaving his left leg amputated above the knee. He was also left with a crushed skull, broken back and many other health issues. This accident did not stop Bell from finding his true passion though.
Realizing he would never be able to go back to the job he loved, an operator of heavy equipment, he knew it was time to focus on what mattered most;
family
and
friends.
And he found a new love of golf through
Power Tee
, and we are honored to be a part of his journey.
“I will say that Power Tee is the
main
reason for me getting back in the game. With being an above knee amputee, I have had to completely change my golf swing, and with Power Tee I was able to save all my energy not loading the ball and focus on my swing and stance. I have been using Power Tee a lot lately while training. I used Power Tee to help prepare me for the
Veterans Charity Tournament
this past weekend and the
Phoenix Cup
back in October. I was a Phoenix Cup vice captain of 15 members representing Team USA with the USAGA.”
