Cheers David,
This time of year is one of my absolute favorites! The leaves are falling, the air is crisp with snow coming soon, holiday season has everyone full of cheer, and of course the swim and dive season is in full-go mode! It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through the season, which has been a competitive marathon for our swimmers and divers. As you start (or finish) your holiday shopping, why not add CSU Swim & Dive to your "shopping" list?!
There are many ways you can support our program. Many of you have seen our Busbey Enhancement Campaign piece, others have spoken with me about additional program needs. As we approach year-end, we’re asking you to consider adding our #OneTeamOneFamily to your "holiday shopping" list..no gift is too big nor too small, we are grateful for them all!
Donating is just an easy click away:
-
Donate to our Busbey Enhancement Campaign. This campaign is specifically for new starting blocks, video board, technology and dryland training equipment.
- Donate directly to our swim & dive program and select either women’s or men’s swimming and diving. Donations will go into our restricted fund and help with day to day needs such as team travel, meals, equipment, swimsuits, warmups, and additional resources such as our Confidence Coach. Thanks to inflation from the pandemic and having our eyes set on the top of the Horizon League, we need your continued support NOW more than ever to accomplish our goals.
We are a program on a MISSION:
· To win the Horizon League Conference Championship meet with both men & women in the same season
· Become nationally relevant and ranked
· Continue Academic Success (we all know it’s “easier” to maintain something than it is to accomplish something new)
· Be a priority and destination for swimmers, divers, and coaches.
What's next for the team? On Monday we return for a small period of time as we focus on the last few weeks of the semester. We are taking a small group down to the US Open in Greensboro North Carolina! We will return to Cleveland for our “Stay-Cation” in January where we have THE best facility to train in and the best resources A.K.A. “PEOPLE”! We have a new strength and conditioning coach Jorge, and he is absolutely remarkable and brilliant in his programming and training. We have the best Sport medicine staff, in particular Kelsey our athletic trainer, who takes care of our teams’ health, wellness, and general aches and pains.
Thank you so much for being apart of our #OneTeamOneFamily and for your ongoing support. Mark your calendars now for Giving Day, February 16, 2022, and remember, “You also don’t have to wait until Giving Day to make a impact!
