While many of us wait until January to begin organizing and clearing clutter, November and December are actually great months to begin the process.  At this time of the year, we are in our china hutches and in our basement or attic pulling out decorations.  Most of us also switch from our Spring/Summer wardrobe to our Fall/Winter wardrobe.  So it makes sense not to duplicate the effort again in January.
