Greetings Rounders!
The Uniform Committee has been working between seasons to put together a new uniform for the Philly trip and beyond. The red shirts and the hats that we’ve been using for several years are no longer available; it’s time for a change.
The uniform for the Musicians, Band Aids, Letters, Flags, and Banner Carriers will consist of a new shirt, convertible pants, white Hanes ankle socks, and an updated ball cap.
The convertible pants are mandatory, the purpose is two-fold,
1. We will all be in the same pants, same navy color
2. We have the option to march in shorts.
Steve will determine when we are marching in shorts. Everyone will need to be in these convertible pants and white ankle-length socks so that we are uniform all the way to our white shoes (with no markings).
You will be responsible for ordering your pants, socks, and shoes. We will have the shirts at practice with the new hats coming at a later time. Shirts are $25, and the hats will be $15. We will continue to use our Red Shirts and current hats for the Spring Season. You can order your pants now if you’d like; the links are below. Please order your pants as soon as possible so that you have time for an exchange if needed. These pants can be worn with the current uniform with your Red Shirt.
The size chart below is the vendor's standard US sizing. We provided feedback, and based on our sample testing and the sizing issues we reported to them, they recommended selecting one size larger than usual when choosing pants.
For example, if you normally wear M (around 32 inches), you may want size L. Similarly, if you usually wear S, consider ordering M.
Choosing one size larger than your usual US size should work perfectly. Amazon shows their return policy on its site. I have found them easy to work with.
