April 2022 has been a rewarding and momentous month for the Division of Research & Innovation. Along with welcoming more than 700 participants to our 2022 Research & Innovation Week (R&I Week), from April 4-8, 2022 (including nearly 50 executives for our Industry Day), our outstanding faculty continue to pursue and secure substantial research funding for their diverse research interests.
As we enter the month of May, we enter the commencement season. On May 12, R&I will honor and celebrate our undergraduate and graduate student researchers with our second Cording Ceremony. Each graduate gained significant research experience by working alongside faculty members conducting research or innovation through the Faculty Research & Innovation for Scholarly Excellence (Faculty - RISE) program.
May is also National Inventors Month. R&I looks forward to honoring individuals whose ideas or improvements have had life-changing impacts on the world as we know it.
