Built by banker, John N. Hersh, the home has 12-foot ceilings, magnificent windows, and working fireplaces.

There is also a small gift shop, and New Oxford has many shopping opportunities including the Christmas Haus, just down the street.

When making your reservation, please include your preferred date: Dec. 11 or 16.

About the Club

In the heart of Southern Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia, The Royal-tea Club has been a cherished tradition for over 15 years. the organization was established by a group of women whose objective was to provide gathering events for other individuals for cultural and intellectual pursuits, while enjoying a nice cup of tea. Women of diverse interests and talents come together to foster friendships, promote the arts, and enjoy various speakers. Variety is the spice of life, so we visit a variety of tea rooms, throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. Our past trips have taken us to tea rooms in England, Scotland, Ireland, Connecticut, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, North Carolina and South Carolina.
