Greetings From the Office of Alumni Relations!

Dear Panthers, In the last few weeks, we have all been faced with change that has impacted how we live in profound ways. I want to express my admiration for the strength and resiliency shown by the entire Adelphi community.   I have learned that so many Panthers are on the frontline and serving their communities in many different ways, like Rachel Herbert '18 , who has made over 100 masks for first responders, and Daniel J. McWeeney '07, DNP, NP-C, serving in the emergency department at NYU Winthrop Hospital.   On behalf of the 116,000-plus alumni around the world, we say thank you. If you are a Panther on the frontline, please share your story and tag your social media posts with #StayGold .   As we all are adjusting to the impacts of these unprecedented circumstances, I remind you that we are all in this together. It is more important than ever to stay connected to your alma mater, reach out to classmates and peers, and remember to take care of one another.  As alumni, you know how difficult it must be for the Class of 2020 to miss their last months at Adelphi and finish up their coursework remotely. You can send a note offering words of encouragement and support —or upload a short video taken on your phone—and we will make sure your warm wishes are shared with this exceptionally brave, resilient and historic class. ADELPHI UNIVERSITY STUDENT EMERGENCY SUPPORT FUND

We are living in historic times—times that call on each of us to think about those in our community who are in need of extra help. We are especially committed to our current students. Our mission to provide them the help they need—to stay safe, stay strong and reach their academic goals—is stronger than ever. Over $70,000 has been raised for the Student Emergency S upport Fund by more than 220 members of the Adelphi community.  With your generosity, we can act quickly to provide help to our vulnerable students during this crisis. Your donation will fund: IT support, including laptops and broadband internet Unmet medical expenses Meal money for students with food insecurity
