Adequan Global Dressage Festival Culminates with Back-to-Back Weeks of Can't Miss Competition
Wellington 5* Showcases FEI Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday; Wellington Nations Cup Competition Follows Next Week

Wellington, FL - April 4, 2013 - The Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) will see its most intense weeks of competition of the season beginning April 4-7, 2013, with the Wellington 5*, presented by Diamante Farms. Following the high-stakes week of 5* competition is the Wellington Nations Cup, CDIO 3*/CDI 3* presented by Stillpoint Farm, which will run April 11-14, 2013. Both competitions will be hosted at The Stadium of the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL.
The Wellington 5* will host some of the world's top dressage riders as they battle for honors in the FEI Grand Prix on Friday at 1 pm. The FEI Grand Prix Freestyle will be showcased under the lights on Saturday at 7:30 pm. The FEI Grand Prix Special will be held Sunday at 9 am.
Spectators can anticipate watching the best international dressage competition of the season, including Olympians Steffen Peters (USA) and Legolas 92, Ashley Holzer (CAN) and Breaking Dawn, David Marcus (CAN) and Don Kontes, Tina Konyot (USA) and Calecto V, Lars Petersen (DEN) and Mariett, and more.

Saturday night's exciting schedule includes a special "Dressage vs. Reining" exhibition with Susie Dutta on her grand prix horse, Currency DC, and Megan Davis, a top reining rider from Ingram Stables. The two talented equestrians will each have the opportunity to show off their skills in their respective disciplines.
The exhibition will be held with the evening's main event, the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle competition. There will also be several fantastic prizes raffled off to general admission seat holders throughout Saturday night, adding to the non-stop action under the lights. Don't miss out on this action-packed evening!
Artist Josee Nadeau Exhibits at Global Pavilion
Internationally renowned artist Josēe Nadeau, who has been showing her work at The Gallery at PBIEC for the past six weeks, has extended her stay and will be showing her work at The Stadium over the next two weeks.
Nadeau had a show as the guest of Ralph Lauren at The East Hampton and South Hampton stores, and her work has been collected by celebrities and many avid art collectors, such as the President Honoree of The Montr�al Museum of Fine Arts, Bernard Lamarre. Paintings will be available to purchase and view at The Global Pavilion until April 17.

"I am delighted that my paintings will be shown in such a spectacular facility for the top riders, owners of horses, and many others to enjoy my work," Nadeau said. "The subject matter is important to me, that it is either painting a garden or a horse portrait, I love feeling the environment of the spirit of my subject matter, as it is what matters most in a painting to capture the essence."
Nations Go Head to Head in CDIO Competition
Competition continues at full throttle the following week as the Wellington Nations Cup, presented by Stillpoint Farm, kicks off another thrilling week of CDIO 3* and CDI 3* competition. Ten teams representing various countries compete on behalf of their nations in the highlight competition of the AGDF.
Currently there are two teams each for the United States and Canada. There is also a European team and teams for Australia, Colombia, Venezuela, Spain, and a Mixed Team.

The Wellington Nations Cup is the only non-championship Nations Cup held in the Western Hemisphere and is the first-ever to have teams comprised of both Grand Prix and Prix St. Georges horses. The inaugural competition held last year was wildly successful and 2013 is sure to be another thrilling presentation of international competition at its finest.
