Fall Quarterly News Update

Hello, ACTE Administration Division Members!

Learning to Ask “who”

In the rapidly evolving landscape of the future, the ability to ask “who” rather than “how” or “why” will become a crucial skill for school leaders. This shift emphasizes the importance of networking and leveraging the expertise of others to achieve goals more efficiently. By focusing on “who,” leaders can identify the right people with the necessary skills, knowledge, and connections to drive projects forward. In a world where information is abundant and constantly changing, knowing who to turn to for the right insights and support can make all the difference.

This brings us to the theme of this month’s newsletter theme… Becoming Network-Centric

Adaptability and resourcefulness are becoming indispensable traits for leaders in this interconnected era. The ability to pivot quickly and utilize available resources effectively is enhanced when leaders know who to reach out to. Building a strong network of reliable contacts allows leaders to navigate uncertainties and seize opportunities that may arise unexpectedly. This network-centric approach empowers leaders to be more agile and responsive, ensuring they can meet the demands of an ever-changing environment.

Check out the many networking opportunities listed in our fall newsletter to master the art of asking “who” and launch your teams into thriving futures.

Warm regards

Sandra Adams, Ph.D
