Why We Love SA: Hear from our school community!

Kylie, 11th grade student, shares why she loves SA:

“I love being a dual-enrollment student at Catawba and SA, and I also love the freedom that comes with that. The teachers at SA are extremely helpful and nice, and classes prepare you academically and for society. Having a coffee shop around the corner to walk to with friends is amazing too! We even know all of our teachers’ coffee orders at Koco Java.”

JK Teacher Mrs. Jordan shares why she loves SA:

"Salisbury Academy is a wonderful community. It's a place where all children are known—a place where children are exposed to challenging academics, but most importantly, it's a place where they can grow into good people. Growing emotional and social skills, building character and confidence, and teaching the children what it means to 'give back'—this is what I really love about our school."

Judah, 5th grade student, shares why he loves SA:

"At Salisbury Academy, I love all of the friends I've made and how learning is fun. The teachers are always so nice. Saying, 'hey' to my sister and brother each day in the hallway is fun too. It's a great place!"

Teachers and Staff Share What They Love About Our SA Students and Families

Our SA community is one in which students form deep bonds with their teachers, where all members are valued and given opportunities to connect and thrive, and where we share each day in the joy of learning! In the month of February and the season of love, teachers and staff took a moment to share some of the things they love most about the students and families in our SA community.
