In a venue traditionally reserved for baseball, the Saint John’s Pioneers and the Xaverian Hawks will battle on the gridiron as part of their regular Catholic Conference season on Sunday, October 24 at Polar Park in Worcester, Massachusetts. Polar Park opened in 2021 and is home to the Boston Red Sox Triple-A affiliate Worcester Red Sox. The Saint John’s versus Xaverian football game will make history as the first-ever Catholic Conference football game to be played in the new stadium. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. We hope you'll join us at Polar Park for this historic day for Saint John's and to cheer on our Pioneers! As a special opportunity for our Open House attendees, the first 50 families who stop by the Admissions table in Conal Hall on Saturday, October 16, and mention this offer will receive two (2) complimentary tickets to the game. FALL OPEN HOUSES Saint John's is offering the first of two fall Open Houses this Saturday, October 16 from 9:00 - 11:30 AM. Prospective families are invited to join us on campus to learn more about the high school and middle school divisions and interact with faculty, administration, current students and parents, as well as athletic coaches. PIONEERFEST 2021 At the conclusion of Open House on Saturday, October 16, all guests are welcome to head down to Pioneer Field for our annual PioneerFest, one of our favorite events celebrating Saint John's and our greater community. The event is free and open to all so please feel free to bring the entire family down for some fun, games, food trucks, and watch our Pioneers take on BC High at 12:00 PM!

ONE ACT PLAY FESTIVAL Guests attending Saturday's Open House will have an opportunity to stop by Jay Theatre to catch a variety of short plays as part of our One-Act Play Festival. The plays feature Saint John's High School students as well as high school-aged girls from surrounding communities. Authors consist of professional playwrights, current Saint John's students, and faculty. This mix of Comedy, Drama, and Mystery has a little something for everyone! The One-Act Play Festival will also take place on Friday, October 15, and Saturday, October 16 at 7:00 PM in Jay Theatre. Admission is free. Find more information about tickets here.

On September 21, Saint John's celebrated the start of a new school year with the Mass of the Holy Spirit and a Matriculation Ceremony for our newest Pioneers. THOMAS J. KELLEY '50, P'79 MAKERSPACE FOR ROBOTICS & ENGINEERING On October 5, Saint John's held a Blessing & Naming Ceremony for our state-of-the-art Makerspace, now officially named the Thomas J. Kelley '50, P'79 Makerspace for Robotics & Engineering. The $1,000,000 gift from the estate of alumnus and past parent Thomas J. Kelley ’50, P’79 will be used to create an endowed fund to support the operation of the school’s Makerspace for Engineering and Robotics and provide professional development for all faculty and staff in order to maximize the use of the innovation space for all students in all academic disciplines.
