Google Ads Unveils New Design
Google Ads started rolling out its new look after months of trialing two different designs.


The Insights: Google Ads is introducing a new design set to become the default by 2024. After testing two designs, the new interface has a main menu on the left and organizes pages into five high-level categories: Campaigns, Goals, Tools, Billing, and Admin. This structured layout aims to streamline navigation for both new and veteran advertisers. Although the updated design is rolling out to trial participants, all users will transition to it by December 2023. However, the option to use the old design will remain until 2024. Google encourages feedback to enhance the platform further.
Amazon Prime Shall Soon Have Ads
Early next year, ad units will start to appear in Prime Video shows and movies for subscribers in the US, UK, Canada and Germany. 


The Insights: Amazon has joined other streamers in introducing ads into its Prime Video streaming service. Starting soon, users will, by default, be subject to advertisements while watching their content. Users can pay an extra $3 per month on top of their Prime subscription to remain ad-free. This now presents more opportunities for advertisers to leverage Amazon data to market to its consumers effectively. Amazon Prime Video continues investing in content and already has some of the year's most popular watches in The Boys & Rings of Power. Adding this streaming service to your programmatic mix should be on your radar.
