Are you a part of our AGN Family?  It's that time of year to join us through our annual membership drive.  We invite you to become a member of Adopt a Golden Nashville. 

Rescuing Goldens...It's our mission and it's our passion!  Since 1998 we've rescued approximately 2,500 Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes and placed them into wonderful forever homes.  We could not have done any of this without YOU!

We ask you to support our mission through your membership.  AGN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue that is 100% volunteer operated.  We operate solely on donations and our annual membership drive.  Every dollar is used for veterinary costs and other costs directly associated with our Golden "Orphans".  We can only continue to save the lives of Goldens in need with YOUR help.  Our members, donors and our volunteers are heroes!  We need each and every one of you to continue our successful mission.  AGN has a lot of Goldens to save in our future and your membership makes that possible.

Reese
Vision impairments don't stand in his way of fun

Reese (formerly Cash) was surrendered to AGN at the age of 12 weeks because his family didn't have enough time for an active puppy. Upon intake, AGN's veterinarian determined that Reese had acute vision impairment. Rehabilitation was accomplished while Reese was in the care of a loving AGN foster home.  AGN was able to find just the right home to meet Reese's special needs and currently, i f you didn't know about his vision impairment, you wouldn't be able to tell. He plays at night just like he plays in the daytime and has adjusted well to his new home and surroundings. He makes friends easily at the dog park, but especially loves his new sister Dixie and his cat brothers, Edgar and Allen.  He loves to go on adventures where he runs, chases deer and rabbits, and swims every chance he gets.
Rio
From street dog to lap dog

Rio was rescued from the streets of Istanbul Turkey in 2016.  When AGN took him in, it was clear he couldn't have survived much longer, as he had open sores all over his body and several tick borne illnesses that needed immediate medical care. His AGN foster mom slowly nursed him back to health over several months, and fell in love in the process, so she adopted him.  Rio is a 84lb cuddle bug who loves to sleep in her lap; a bull in a China shop when chasing a tennis ball and will bark for affection or the ball that ended up under the couch.
Hank
From barely there, to full and thick hair

Hank joined AGN in 2016 at the age of 11. His owner had fallen ill and was no longer able to care for him. Hank was living in the backyard, barely surviving. He had a massive skin infection that caused hair loss over most of his body. With the special care of his AGN family, the difference now is truly amazing!  In his new home, he has become quite the joy and character, now that he is healthy and well cared for.

AGN will be hosting its annual Spring event at  Sips n' Strokes-Nashville . Join us in a fun, casual environment where 
we'll create our own painting "masterpieces" with easily understood, step-by-step guidance from one of the trained instructors.
