Nat'l Adoption Month Starts Today!
Adoption Billboard on Canal Street Kicks It Off
Today begins National Adoption Month! Adoption is such a pivotal element of the pro-life cause that often gets overlooked. Sadly, for every 100 abortions in America, there are only two adoptions. We need to share the beauty of adoption!!

One small way we are doing that is through our billboard on Canal Street in downtown New Orleans telling the world that adoption is a LOVING option!
Our adoption short film I Lived on Parker Avenue is still available for people to view online FOR FREEI If you have never watched it, please do so. In fact, t ogether with Sarah Zagorski on our team, I will be speaking at a screening of film in New York City Monday evening. If you have any friends there, let them know!

Share with others, whether on social media or in person, the beauty of adoption. Use our film as a great introduction!

For a Pro-Life Louisiana,
Benjamin Clapper

5th Circuit Sends Lawsuit Challenging State Abortion Regulations Back to District Court
On Oct. 18, a three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit elected not to dismiss a lawsuit challenging all Louisiana abortion clinic regulations. At the same time, the panel sent the case back down to the Middle District Court in Baton Rouge with direction that the abortion industry lawyers present evidence on how these laws could harm either the abortion clinics or the women these laws are designed to protect.

State Fair Pro-Life Outreach is Going Strong; More Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Shifts
The pro-life message is being shared with visitors to the State Fair of Louisiana in Shreveport for the second week, and there's been a great response to the message so far! Louisiana Right to Life's booth in the commercial building is being seen by thousands of visitors, and volunteers are sharing the beauty of life and the injustice of abortion with those who stop by. The fair ends Sunday, Nov. 10, and we need more volunteers to help us finish the event strong!

Monday is the deadline If you want to be listed in our printed invitation as a patron for our 50th Anniversary Proudly Pro-Life Gala, set for Jan. 18, 2020, in downtown New Orleans. This Sunday (Nov. 3) we will be exactly one year away from the vote on Louisiana's Love Life Amendment, which will make sure abortion is not a protected right in the state Constitution. Will you help us and become a part of the Love Life team?

In early 2020, Louisiana will be at the U.S. Supreme Court defending its 2014 law requiring abortion businesses to have admitting privileges at a local hospital, just like all other outpatient surgical facilities. Why should the Supreme Court play favorites with abortion facilities? Please sign our petition to the Supreme Court to end abortion loopholes!
The 2019 40 Days For Life fall campaign comes to a close Sunday, and nearly 400 babies have been saved worldwide through campaigns in communities just like ours. Three campaigns have been ongoing outside abortion facilities in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport, and though the campaigns end this weekend, prayers are continually needed at these sites!
