September is here! We closed out August with six adoptions, including a foster and two longtime residents! We are so thankful to these wonderful families for opening their hearts to our loving seniors. Raina, Zena, Mocha, Rambo, Brooke, and Midas are thrilled to have found their families!

You all made our Pampered Chef party such an enormous success! We raised over $1700, surpassing our goal, and our dogs are so grateful. Thank you so much for your support! A massive thank you to Karin Nord, our Pampered Chef consultant, for all of her hard work to ensure our party was not only successful but also a blast!

Eat at Bubba's 33 in Glen Burnie on Wednesday, September 18th, and help us raise money for SDS. All you have to do is eat some of their delicious food, show them the flyer, and we'll receive 10% of the proceeds. Winning!

A wonderful donor has offered to match up to $5,000 for our sanctuary, and we're getting so close to our goal! Your donations will help dogs like Scooter, who was found chained to a fence in the blistering sun, severely malnourished. We got him the care and support he needed, and look at him now! He's got his sparkle back!

We're hoping to do the same with sweet Nick. He was brought to us from an animal cruelty case. It's one of the saddest things we've seen in a while, but we know he'll get better with some time and love. For now, we've ensured that he has a toy basket big enough to fit in, as he loves to lie with the toys.

There are so many people who step in to help our sanctuary. Joshua from Burch Wood Crafting gifted us a beautiful new donation box. The Air Force Detachment 2 at Fort Meade came to the sanctuary to chip our trail. Woofies of Annapolis stopped by to groom some of our pups. It's all so fantastic! Our sanctuary feels your love and support and we are so grateful!
