The Adult Education Pipeline 3.0 release is now available! The Adult Education Pipeline has been updated with 2018-19 enrollment and completion data from the Chancellor’s Office Management Information System (COMIS) and from an export of the TOPSpro Enterprise (TE) provided by CASAS. The 3.0 release includes updates to the 2017-18 Employment and Earnings metrics, 10 new metrics, a new locale selection for community college districts, a new drilldown for first time versus returning students, and changes to existing metrics for better alignment with CASAS and with Student Success Metrics. Interested in learning more about the Digital Leadership Academy (DLAC)? Join OTAN and the DLAC Cohort 2 for their final report sessions, scheduled for this Friday, May 15, 2020. These sessions will provide a better understanding of DLAC and the projects and plans Cohort 2 produced.

Chancellor’s Office Direct Emergency Aid to Students Guidance Memo
|

|
COVID-19 has left students unable to meet basic needs related to food and shelter! The Chancellor’s Office Direct Emergency Aid to Students Guidance memo provides a summary of current state programs that may provide direct aid to eligible students, including to those students who are prohibited from receiving CARES Act assistance. Colleges are encouraged to work with the Chancellor’s Office program staff to ensure appropriate federal, state, and local student eligibility and verification processes are followed.

The results are in! Since the beginning of emergency school closures due to COVID-19, the CAEP Office has been closely tracking its impact on adult education. The CAEP Update provides a preliminary analysis of the CDE Adult Education Office Critical Events Survey results, a snapshot of student enrollment via TOPSPro for CAEP, agency highlights, and a list of available resources.
