Greetings First Pres faith family!

I look forward to joining you this fall. My goal is to invite and equip each of you into a discipleship pathway. I hope we study the Bible together in ways that spark your curiosity as a follower of Jesus Christ and that propel you onward in your faith journey.

My vision statement is “I want to help make Jesus real in people’s lives, beginning with our own family.”

September Sermon Series
A New Normal: Finding New Rhythms of Life
Sundays through October 4
8:30 a.m. Outdoor Worship; 10:00 a.m. Livestream Worship

"A New Normal" reminds us that God is with us in the disorienting, culture-shifting situations we find ourselves in, whether because of a global pandemic, a new life stage by choice, or a sudden change by chance. Despite the obvious challenges, how do we find new rhythms in our spiritual lives? We will encounter Old Testament prophets and personalities and see how their stories relate to ours. In less familiar books of the Bible, we will recall familiar and life-shaping biblical truths. Watch part two from last Sunday here.

Christmas Sharing - December 11 & 12

The Christmas Sharing Executive Board met virtually in early August to discuss options for this year's Christmas Sharing event, scheduled for December 11 and 12. This year is especially challenging, and we ask for your prayers that we might have wisdom in our planning. We are currently working on the details about what Christmas Sharing will look like for 2020, and we will keep in touch and share details as we are able.

Please know we will not be hosting the event inside our church facility as in past years and cannot accept physical donations of personal items. If you are able to help, there will be a strong financial need as we get closer to the Christmas Sharing dates.

Thank you for your abundant compassion for our District 200 neighbors in need!
