Administration has moved!
After over a decade at New Bern Ridge, Advance Community Health operations has completely vacated the building with the move of our Administration to 1001 Rock Quarry Road. With this move, ACH administration staff will be in the same location for the first time in years.
Giving Kids a Smile

Meet Nicholas, one of Advance Community Health's patients at Give Kids a Smile Day on Friday, February 5, 2016. His mom, Nakisha, says, "We don't have dental insurance, so I wanted to make sure I took advantage of this opportunity." Including Nicholas, Advance Community Health provided free dental exams, cleanings, and x-rays to children in its new ten operatory dental center located in Southeast Raleigh. All of these children lacked dental insurance and for many of them, this was their first time ever going to the dentist. Our lead dentist, Dr. Shelly Rickert said, "Dental healthcare is so important, especially for kids. You can catch the problems early while they're still small."

Year-round, Advance Community Health's Dental Center offers access to Dental healthcare regardless of a patient's ability to pay. For those without insurance, we operate on a sliding-fee scale that is dependent on the patient's income. If your child needs Dental healthcare, please call (919) 250-2930 to make an appointment.

opportunity to impact people's health and the lives of those who may not have the opportunity to receive care otherwise. I was influenced by my own Physician Assistant at a young age. I thought she was caring and knowledgeable. She had a way of making me feel at ease at my appointments. I felt like I could tell her anything and could count on  her to be honest and open with me. So, I like being able to provide care to the under-served. I had one patient tell me "you fixed me". That makes me feel like what I'm doing here really matters. The one thing I try to stress the most is to maintain a healthy lifestyle and that can do wonders for your health. I enjoy it when my patient's return to appointments and say things like "I am doing more walking", or "I've cut out salt from my diet". Little efforts like that really make a difference.
Voices of the ACH Community:
Rhonda Angerio, SMITHSINNETTarchitecture
The SMITHSINNETTarchitecture Team
I became aware of Advance Community Health (ACH) through my job as an architect. I was impressed then and I am impressed now with ACH's dedication to serve our community with great compassion. This is why SMITHSINNETarchitecture decided to sponsor a table at ACH's 2015 breakfast.
As someone who has volunteered for many small local non-profits, I see the tremendous importance of protecting all aspects of a person's physical and mental health.  As we watch services to those in need consistently decrease, it is more important than ever to contribute. ACH makes a point of meeting people where they live and making a big difference in their lives within the confines of a very strained budget.
ACH builds and preserves the health, wellness and ultimately the strength of our community. This is why I support Advance Community Health.

OUR MISS ION: To deliver quality, compassionate primary healthcare--every patient, every time--in response to the ne eds of our communities.
