Dear Nursing Facility Provider,
Effective December 31, 2016, Aetna Better Health of Ohio (ABHO) will be ending our relationship with Optum to provide nurse practitioner services to our members in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Between now and December 31, 2016, ABHO will be transitioning to our new vendor, Advance Health, who will begin providing service to our members starting on January 1, 2017. The Advance Health team will begin to outreach to your facility to gather any credentialing requirements and provide introduction to the program.
Please note that day-to-day interactions (such as authorizations and other engagements) will continue to be handled by Aetna Better Health of Ohio during this transition.
