THANK YOU for subscribing to our YouTube Channel and helping us reach our 1K goal. Check-in on Facebook and invite your friends and family to attend Mass on the livestream. Remember to make your weekly offertory gift via Online Giving.
Contemplative Mass
Join us on Sunday evenings at St. Patrick Church for a contemplative chant Mass at 7 pm. The lights are low and the candles are lit for a reflective and prayerful celebration.

On the 4th Sunday of each month the 7 pm Mass is reserved for Youth Group and Confirmation Prep students and their families.

Stewardship of Treasure Renewal
We are very grateful to the many parishioners who have returned a Treasure Commitment Card to our parishes. Your generosity supports our many ministries. We thank you for being good stewards of all that God has given you.

Fr. David signed and mailed over 1500 letters and asks everyone who has not yet made their 2021 commitment to prayerfully evaluate their giving to the parish and community. Need a little more inspiration? Listen or re-listen to Todd and Kim Ward's recent witness talk.

After discernment, click on your parish link below and make your pledge. How will you know whether you have pledged the right amount? You will feel comfortable and at peace with your gift.

Giving Tuesday
Save the date! #GivingTuesday is quickly approaching. Have you chosen the organizations you'll support on December 1 as a thank you for their impact on your life?

Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving, that follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year especially, we're thankful for the frontline workers, small businesses, and community leaders who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic.

At our parishes, we've shared digital resources like virtual retreats, articles and livestreamed Mass to help you stay connected to your faith during this difficult time. We hope you'll consider supporting the parish ministry as we begin Advent and a new litugical year. Use the giving links below to make your extra gift to support parish ministry.
Weekly Offertory
An offertory collection basket is located at the back of the sanctuary during Mass for contactless giving. If you are unable to attend Mass in person, please mail in your gift or give online with Online Giving, — Fr. David gives this way! It is safe and easy. If you are already an Online Giving subscriber, please remember to update your giving profile if you have taken a step up for your 2021 Stewardship of Treasure pledge.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Want to double your gift for the Annual Catholic Appeal? Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. When an employee makes a donation, they'll request the matching gift from their employer, who then makes their own donation. It is as easy as filling out a form. Talk to the benefits coordinator at work to learn how to participate. Learn more
Year-End Giving
Have you considered making a donation by year-end for tax purposes? Stewardship pledge payments or new gifts need to be received in the parish office or postmarked by December 31 to be credited to the 2020 calendar year for tax purposes.

Other ways to make your year-end gift:
  • Stock— donating stock to a non-profit can save you from paying capital gains tax on the appreciated value if you’ve held the stock for at least a year.
  • IRA If you are 70½ or older, there are potential tax benefits when you transfer funds from your IRA. Contact your IRA plan administrator.

Finding our Way to the Center:
An Advent Evening of Prayer
~
December 9, 2020
7:00-8:15 pm

Join us for a virtual labyrinth “walk” in this contemplative ecumenical Advent evening of prayer, music, art, dance, silence, imagination and reflection.  Presenters Fr. Jerry Graham, S.J. and Rev. Carolyn Shimabukuro will guide us on a journey with Mary and others to find our way to the Center and to hopefully return transformed. After this long weary year with the pandemic, election and growing darkness of Winter, may we pause together to find our center again in God!

Cost is on a sliding-scale, donation-based program. Suggested donation is $10.

Adoration
Archbishop Etienne began Year of the Eucharist on the Feast of Corpus Christi for the Archdiocese of Seattle and asked us to spend this time pondering the true presence of Jesus's Sacred Body and Blood in the Eucharist. Read his pastoral letter, "The Work of Redemption." Join us for Adoration. Click the parish links below to view adoration schedule and sign up to keep watch for an hour.

Youth Group and Confirmation Prep students are invited to register for a special night of Adoration on December 17 at 7 pm.
faith formation
First Sunday of Advent
The first Sunday of Advent is November 29, 2020. On that weekend we change the cloth on our home prayer tables from green to purple. Purple is the color of preparation for the feast. We now enter the four week time of preparation for the feast of Christmas. Notice the purple in the Church— on the altar and the priest’s vestments.
Rite of
Acceptance & Welcoming

The Church joyfully welcomed and received members into the Order of the Catechumens on Sunday, November 22. In the months to come, the Catechumens will prepare for their initiation into the Christian Faith by Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.

We also welcomed those who, already one with us by Baptism, now wish to complete their Christian Initiation through Confirmation and Eucharist and those who wish to be received into the Full Communion of the Catholic Faith.

For all of these, we give thanks and praise to God who has led them by various paths to oneness in faith. The Mass was livestreamed on our YouTube Channel. Keep Candidates and Catechumens in your prayers.
