Generosity at Your Church
During the last nine months, weekly worship services at Grace and Holy Trinity have continued on YouTube. How? Your financial support makes it possible! Be sure to complete a pledge card online for 2021 and consider funding your gifts through appreciated securities. These transactions take a little more time than traditional gifts by check or credit card, so check out this resource with brokerage account information. If you are unable to meet your pledge for 2020, please let us know—it’s been a most unusual year! Contact Judy Bowman or Barb Dodd with questions.
Christmas Ministry
We have 18 out of 19 students from Dumbarton Elementary School sponsored for the Christmas Ministry! Thank you for your generosity and keep in touch with Nancy Smith for more information about gift collection and distribution dates. Gifts should be picked up or delivered between Dec 7-13. Drop off in Church parking lot is Dec 13 from noon-1:00 pm. Gifts will be given to families on Dec. 14.
Race at Grace
As we continue to endeavor to respect the dignity of every human being, and love one another as Christ loves us, with God’s help. You are invited to add your own recommendations to the list of reading, watching, and listening materials on our website and to participate in the journey towards racial equity, relationship building, on your own journey. Recent additions to the resources have come from Nick Sollog and Nancy Trego. Thank you for the recommendations! Contact Mo. Kim or Bill if you’d like to add your voice to the conversation. A link and a short reflection of the material is greatly appreciated.
Next Steps Committee
Your Vestry is constituting a committee to look at the next steps for us as a parish to respond to the important issues of racial equity and justice. In order to tap into your wisdom and commitment, the Vestry is seeking parishioner volunteers to be a part of this committee. If you are interested, or just want to know more, please contact Thomas Ewers or Barbara Derry

Red Door for Christmas and New Years
This year both Christmas Day and New Years Day fall on Fridays. Because of the COVID-19 restrictions, we will be providing meals for these two days through gift cards. After much thought and prayer and considering the logistics of this, we believe this is the best option. It allows individuals to have a hot meal, with limited hand to hand contact, and at their convenience. Although we did not budget for this in 2020, since making this decision, we have received over $300 towards the purchase of gift cards from friends and volunteers at Red Door. If you are interested in donating towards this purchase please make a donation on our website and indicate that the gift is for Red Door Ministry.
