Advent Begins

This is a season of anticipation, hope, preparation and gratitude.

We take this season to remember and celebrate what God has done, is doing right now in our midst, and will continue to do to love us, save us, reconcile us, and heal us.

It is our hope that these daily Advent prayers will nourish and inspire you as you focus in on the real message of this season.

First Sunday in Advent

Loving God, today as we celebrate the first day of the season of Advent, I light the first candle of the Advent wreath. Let this candle be a reminder that this is a season of hope and a promise of salvation. As a single candle lights up the darkness around me, let my words and actions today reflect your light and your love. May my words be of kindness and compassion; may my actions be generous and selfless. Guide me as this journey through Advent begins.

The Christmas Festival of Lights Continues

Join us nightly as we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with music, lights and joy.

Known as the world's largest Christmas Choral Festival, more than 150 choirs will perform over the course of 31 nights in the Chapel of Mary, known for its cathedral-like acoustics.

There are nightly puppet shows and caroling in the pavilion tent, and don't forget the millions of lights, including our walk-thru Christmas tree!
