Thank you for your ongoing support to the ministry of Linwood Community as we provide a faith-based, inclusive, independent living experience for moderate income adults, age 62+.

Your gifts of time, talent and treasures support our physical community, but more importantly they support the sense of community for which we all long. The sense of community is about fellowship with others as a result of sharing common beliefs, attitudes, interests, and goals. Below are testimonies from persons that have benefited from your past support.  

My neighbors and the staff treat me like a beloved family member. 

I love the secure, safe and affordable building and the caring staff. Tenants have become my closest friends.

Our home is affordable, and our community is faith-based.         

Linwood offers us many educational and social opportunities.  

The building is well maintained, and apartment repairs are made in a timely fashion.

My Dad called Linwood home for the last 7 years of his life. The staff, volunteers and tenants care and watch out for each other. I am grateful for the special friends we made.  

Your gifts of support allowed us to celebrate the following accomplishments in 2024:

• Replaced all west side apartment windows to increase energy efficiency.
•  Installed fire extinguishers in individual apartments.
• Upgrade the east side landscape, install curbing and level/seed the south lawn

We hope to accomplish the following projects in 2025:

• Continue building façade refacing.
• Install additional safety grab bars and create bathtub cuts to increase tenant safety.
• Additional programing including health and safety topics and social engagement opportunities.
• Music and exercise programs.
• Replace east side apartment windows to increase energy efficiency and reduce energy costs.
