The fourth and final lesson of our Advent curriculum focuses on the scripture reading Luke 2:15-20. Jesus is born!
Scripture: Look up the scripture and read it out loud together. You also may watch a video of Luke 1-2, the story of the Nativity, called "He's Here" from the Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones.
Reflection: Each lesson includes a brief reflection for the scripture texts. Can you remember a time when something you were looking forward to didn't go as expected? How did you feel? What do you think it was like for Mary and Joseph when Jesus was born? Check the lesson for more reflection questions.
Activity: To remind ourselves to treasure love, create a 2D treasure chest using paper and the design elements included in the activity page.
