The Seventh Sunday of Easter
May 24
10:30 a.m. Streaming Live Online
In these days between Ascension and Pentecost, we gather with the disciples in the upper room, waiting for the Spirit to transform the church around the world. In today's gospel Jesus prays for his followers and for their mission in his name. Amid religious, social, and economic divisions, we seek the unity that Jesus had with his Father. Made one in baptism, we go forth to live our faith in the world, eager for the unity that God intends for the whole human family.

Annual Congregational Meeting, June 14 at 11:30am via Zoom
The annual meeting for Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church usually occurs in the first two weeks of June, as our fiscal year runs from July-June.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic we are having our annual meeting via a Zoom Webinar so that a presentation of materials may still be made from the Church Council, elections may still take place via polling, and a budget may also be presented and voted on via polling. Questions, comments, and nominations will still be able to be taken from "the floor."

As this is an official meeting with real consequences, we are asking all who attend to be members of AdventELC and to register. For those who are not members of AdventELC you will still be able to view the meeting live on our YouTube page.

Please do not wait and register today!

The Buckeye Bandit!!!
Many thanks to Charlie Pforsich and his musical talents playing the piano for our special music this past Sunday. Although you probably didn't catch the The Buckeye Bandit, he was chilling and front and center to enjoy Charlie's tickling of the ivories!

Keep an eye out during our live stream services and see if you can find him. He is clever and doesn't like to be caught!
Dear friends at Advent,
As most of you know Jim has taken a job with the Florida-Bahamas Synod ELCA as the Director of Disaster Response. We will be leaving for Jacksonville, FL on May 22.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to say proper goodbyes to our Advent family. Advent has been a special and meaningful home for us. Please know that we will miss all of you and will hold you in our hearts and prayers.
