Welcome to the June 2026

Adventure Tours Newsletter!

Our New York City Spring trip was filled with unforgettable moments, from seeing four incredible Broadway shows, including the Tony Award-winning Schmigadoon! and the surprisingly phenomenal Chess, to enjoying a delicious family-style dinner at Becco. We admired the city's stunning spring floral displays, strolled through Central Park, explored the fascinating catacombs beneath St. Patrick's Old Cathedral, enjoyed a personalized bus tour of the city, and walked across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, experiencing both the celebrated landmarks and hidden gems that make New York so magical.

Our recent journey through Portugal was nothing short of spectacular. With sunny skies and perfect weather every day, our group enjoyed an unforgettable exploration of the country’s rich culture, history, and cuisine. From scenic drives through the countryside and medieval hilltop villages frozen in time to the breathtaking terraced vineyards of the Douro Valley, each destination offered something remarkable. Highlights included preparing a traditional meal alongside a Portuguese family, sampling exceptional Ports, wines and pastries, and discovering the rolling wheat fields, cork oak forests, and ancient olive groves of the Alentejo region. Portugal truly captured our hearts and left us with wonderful memories to cherish.

Mystery Trips 7.0 and 7.2 took us to the greater Wausau area, where we sampled homemade chocolates, discovered a new mocktail, and enjoyed lunch at a historic train depot. After lunch, we visited the Marathon County Historical Society to explore its exhibit and hear local author Veronica Hinke discuss her book, The Great Gatsby Dining and Entertaining Guide. We finished the day with a walk through the Dells of the Eau Claire.
