John 16:5 - 16:

"The Holy Spirit"
Jesus promises that He will not leave his followers but will send them a Helper, the Holy Spirit. Though He is the third part of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit is often the least discussed. Many of us carry baggage from our upbringing when we talk about the Holy Spirit and how He interacts with us. This week we will be taking a look at the biblical view of the Holy Spirit and His role in the Kingdom of Heaven.

New Giving System Switchover!
If you haven't noticed yet, we have a new giving system! We've mentioned it before but it's time to get everyone moved over! We've included some instructions below on getting started with the new system.

Contact Debbie if you need help or
need to cancel your recurring gift on the old system.
How to Switch:
First, head to faithadventure.com/give
(pictured above)
Scroll down to the giving box that looks like what is pictured below. There you can choose the amount, the fund you'd like to give to and how often you'd like to give.
After you click "Next" it will ask you to sign-up or log-in. You can choose to do either of these things through email or facebook.

You only have to sign-up once, and then you will log-in in the same manner in the future when needed.
Once you sign-up or log-in it will take you to your account in our new giving system where you can finalize your gifts, choose if you'd like to pay the processing fees instead of the church, set up or manage recurring gifts, and view your giving history on this system.

While we know changing systems can be inconvenient we are excited for the ways this will better serve you and our church in the future.
Thank you for being proactive in switching and don't hesitate
to contact us if you need help!

This section is a new, weekly reminder that God is good!
He is good to us, at Adventure, every single day, & we will praise His name.

At staff meeting when we started talking about ways God has shown himself to be good lately, CJ off-handedly mentioned, "I didn't die." And while God certainly protected our friend, co-worker and Pastor and showed our whole congregation his goodness in that. God has also shown himself to be good in the smaller details. The way the friends that CJ was hiking with have pushed in on God and prayer. The way that conversations at the office have refocused on God's faithfulness in hard times. The way that God weaves his purpose into every story.
No matter the circumstance, God is Good.

If you have stories of God's goodness, hit reply to this email and send them our way. We would love to hear them and talk to you about sharing them.
