Living Differently Sermon Series
There is no place like home. It’s where we feel safe, encouraged, and supported. In our walks with the Lord, He becomes our home, the center of our lives. How we live in the world evidences the Kingdom we are a part of, the Gospel we believe, and reflects the Savior that we serve. HOW we live reveals WHERE we live, our “home,” and home, after all, is where our heart is…”. Join us during this series as we wrap up the book of James, considering how we are
called to live in light of where we live.
Sunday, June 15th: At War
“Within us, a war wages. Our earthly desires combat with the call of heavenly wisdom. How do we reorient our hearts and minds on the Lord that He might transform not only our actions but our motivations. Join us this week as we discuss this war that goes on inside of us and what it means not to be a friend of the world and an enemy of God.”
| | Daily Prayers, Digging Deeper Guide and coordinating Life Group Curriculum are available each week on Sunday to further explore this Sermon Series. You can find those resources (for this week and ALL previous weeks) HERE or at the Welcome Center on Sunday. | |
Adventure:Kids News
This Sunday in Adventure:Kids, we’ll be learning about the promise that Jesus will return one day. Kids will hear how John had a vision of Jesus coming back as a mighty King to defeat evil and make everything right. In the vision, heaven celebrates Jesus with loud praises, and Jesus rides in on a white horse to defeat the beast and the dragon. It’s a powerful reminder that those who trust in Jesus can look forward to a future filled with joy, victory, and life with Him forever.
Key Passage: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." - Revelation 21:4
We can't wait to see you this Sunday!
Sermon notes and challenges for families are available on the Adventure:Kids Facebook page, OR click here for a pdf version.

From those just beginning their adventure with Jesus to those that have traveled far with Him, there is a place for you here as we seek to be more like Jesus and become a stronger Biblical community. Find the Spring session classes offered HERE! Questions? Email Us!

Let's Do Lunch
Thursday, June 19th, 11:30am-1:30pm at Puerta Vallarta
This group is for older adults to enjoy conversation, deepening relationships, delicious food, and sharing together! This gathering allows more time than the, "Hi, I am fine, good to see you," exchanges that so often occur before and after services.
We will be returning to Puerta Vallarta this month. We all know their food is yummy, and they treat us well. Join us for a fiesta! You can also come just for conversation if Mexican food doesn't agree with you. Please RSVP to Marilyn by 6/16/25 at 3:00. Text/call 360-443-2206, or email Marilyn.

This section is a weekly reminder that God is Good!
He is good to us every single day & we will praise His name!
| | Last week we celebrated our final night of BaseCamp for the 24-25 school year with a fun-filled night of Bingo! Various ministries provided awesome prizes to win, the competitive family feel had many of us laughing, and generous donations were made to support our teens going to summer camp! Because of the generosity of so many, we raised just over $800 during Bingo night! God provides, and He is so good! | |
This space in the newsletter is a small way we continue to celebrate the goodness of God all year long, and practice being aware of His presence in our lives. So, if you have stories of God's goodness big or small, hit reply to this email and send them our way. We would love to hear them, pray in praise over them and talk to you about sharing them.
To spur your thoughts to God's goodness start by asking yourself these questions:
What Good have you witnessed recently?
What Good has God brought into your life?
What Good has God prompted you to do for one another?
God is Good!!
