Sewing Challenge
Many of you have asked how you can tangibly help in this crisis. Here's one way you can! You can sew CDC-compliant face masks for healthcare workers.

Clarice Emley (RN Nurse Manager at CHI Franciscan and MultiCare Allenmore) just gave Adventure a goal to make 100 masks (50 sized for men; 50 sized for women). Let's tell her, Challenge Accepted!

Instructions are linked below. Please EMAIL when you have some to be picked up.

Let's hear from some Adventure leaders...

Are we there yet?

Every parent knows how bored and impatient kids in a car will inevitably ask the question, “are we there yet?” Many of us are feeling a little bit like those kids as we wait out this pandemic quarantine. People are working from home, not working at all, missing their church friends, out of their usual routines, and every kid is a home schooler.

“Are we there yet?” is a great question. The problem is, we’re still not sure where “there” is with respect to the end of this unprecedented crisis. Where is the light at the end of the tunnel? How much longer?

Jesus said, “Don’t worry about tomorrow. Let tomorrow worry about itself. Today has enough troubles of its own.” (Matt 6:34)

So today it is. How can we make this a special day? How can we make this the day that Lord has made, and find a way to rejoice and be glad in it? Make this a special day with your spouse, or with your kids, or with a friend on social media, or by appreciating God’s beautiful creation, or by growing closer to God through prayer and reading His Word. Our world may never be the same, but Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and forever!

I look forward to “seeing you” on Sunday at 10:00 am on Facebook, or in the afternoon and thereafter on YouTube.
(Jesus): “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

Worship and Music
Cindy is feeling better every day and we’re grateful for the prayers and love we feel being poured out from Adventure - bless you all!.  Next week is her “week off” from the medication and she always has more energy and feels better on those weeks so we’re looking forward to that. We obviously had to cancel our traveling for now - but we are hoping to spend a little time at our property in Cle Elum next week just for a change of scenery. The medication seems to be doing it’s job and her labs have looked pretty good the last couple times so we remain hopeful for lots of good days ahead!

Tune in to the live worship service and you’ll even see Cindy singing with me!

Preschool Director
This week I have enjoyed having my whole family at home and playing cards and games with them. I have also been connecting with our amazing preschool teachers. They are creating fantastic individualized packets of learning materials for their students to do with their parents, making learning videos for their private classroom Facebook groups, connecting with each of their students' families over the phone, and we have all been praying for each other and our world. It is amazing to see how much love and creativity is pouring out within our church and community. Praying you all have a healthy, happy, and restful weekend.
