John 14: 1-14

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
When Jesus says “I am the way,” the word for “way” is Greek for “road”. Jesus is saying “I am the road to God.”

Let’s look at some signs that illustrate the different roads people try to take to God...
No volunteers are needed but financial contributions are always welcome. Write "FK" in the memo line of your check.

Operation Christmas Child
Is Samaritan's Purse / Operation Christmas Child planning to do shoebox collections this (crazy) year?
YES! Collection Week is coming up November 16-23.

The COVID-19 global pandemic has disrupted everyday life for millions of people around the world. Yet, Samaritan’s Purse continues to share the eternal hope of the Gospel and to serve in Jesus’ Name. We want boys and girls around the world to know that God loves them and has not forgotten them during this time of fear and uncertainty. Children need great joy now more than ever. Most of all, they need the hope found only in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We’re looking forward to a great Operation Christmas Child season as we prayerfully consider ways to modify our collection and processing in light of COVID-19. We are already monitoring local, state, and national guidelines and making adjustments to help protect the health of those involved in preparing shoebox gifts.

Stay tuned for additional details to come.
$1 for One
Your $1 donation will go to support one specific need within the congregation or community. Donation boxes are located in the lobby outside the Worship Center.
This section is a new, weekly reminder that God is good!
He is good to us, at Adventure, every single day, & we will praise His name.

Last week Adventure received a call regarding a large donation of food. A local food bank had more than they could store and had hopes that we could get it to people in need. This coincided with our recognition that the annual collection for Deacon food baskets may have to be tackled differently this year.

I'm happy to share that we were able to supply our Family Kitchen meal (9/18) with a needed main course, give several grocery bags of food to Adventure families in need and still have a pile of canned & dry goods to fill at least 50 food baskets this holiday season. God provided before we were even aware of our own, upcoming need. God is good indeed!
