Hello friends!

Centred Outdoors: Season 7 begins!

We are so excited to share what's in store for the SEVENTH season of Centred Outdoors! From brand new destinations to new features and activities, we think we're gearing up for the best summer of outings yet!

For friends who are new to Centred Outdoors - welcome!

Centred Outdoors is an invitation to everyone, of every age, background, or fitness level, to explore and enjoy outdoor recreation destinations throughout Centre and surrounding counties. Alongside our community partners and participants like you, Centred Outdoors promotes and supports a community that continually visits, enjoys, and cares for the region’s natural assets.

For every guided outing and activity we host, everyone is welcome to attend, there is never a cost to participate, and there is no registration required.

What's new for Season 7? New team members, new destinations, and new opportunities!

Please welcome Olivia Stas, Assistant Adventure Coordinator and Sandy Miller, Communications Specialist to our team, and see our whole team on our staff page!

Plus, Season 7 includes eight new destinations! We look forward to checking out Bald Knob, Dutch Alvin Trail, Little Juniata Natural Area, Soaring Eagle Wetland, Canoe Creek State Park, Boal Mansion trails, Ray F. Decker trail, and the Indian Steps Loop with you throughout the summer, and you can see all the 2023 destinations here.

When you join us for outings this year, you'll also have opportunities to try out some gear such as binoculars or hiking poles through the new Gear Library.

Little explorers will have gear too! Our new Jr. Naturalist backpacks are full of tools such as magnifying glasses, scavenger hunts, and even kid-friendly cameras to engage younger participants throughout the guided walks!

Stay tuned through this Adventure Guide, at events, and through our social pages to stay up to date on how to make the most out of your season.

Read on for details about passports and upcoming events like the Wildflower Walk and Family Fishing Picnic!

We can't wait to see you out on the trails soon!
