Changes to National Park Centres

At a meeting of the Exmoor National Park Authority on Tuesday some changes were agreed to our National Park Centres. These are to be implemented from Autumn 2024 as we seek to address our forecast spending gap, following ongoing reductions in our real terms funding over the last 10-15 years.

The changes include relocating Dulverton National Park Centre into Exmoor House, and operating this seasonally from Easter to October, and reducing the winter opening hours at our Lynmouth National Park Centre.

A full statement, along with a link to the paper outlining the proposals, can be found on our website here, along with a series of Frequently Asked Questions in response to public interest in the proposal to relocate the Dulverton National Park Centre.
