Greetings!
    ,
Many people hope to “age in place.” It’s appealing to be in a comfortable, familiar place, surrounded by memories. Besides, change is difficult. Staying in our homes doesn’t require downsizing, or disruption to our lives.

The reality is aging in place isn’t realistic for most people. Most of us will need additional care as we age. Some of us will require care that can’t be provided at home. Some of us will require care that could be provided at home, but the cost is prohibitive. For some of us, it may not be safe for us to remain alone in our home.

If you are dealing with this issue and would like personalized advice, we would be honored to help you. We know a variety of people in the community, from social workers, bill payers, home-movers, to a firm that helps folks pick out the right place for care to make a smoother transition. We have visited many Austin retirement options with clients. Also, Bleckley and Cass have personally dealt with aging parents and navigated many different levels of care and challenges.

If you like to talk about options for your parents, or for you, please give any of us a call. We would be happy to get the conversation started.

Sincerely,
Cass, Megan and Bleckley
