On Tuesday, September 1, 2026 crews will begin constructing the crosswalk at the Lincoln Lane North and Drexel Avenue intersection. After completing the crosswalk, the contractor will repave portions of Lincoln Lane North related to this work.
Lincoln Lane North will be closed between Pennsylvania Avenue and Washington Avenue. Local traffic will be permitted up to just south of the Drexel Avenue intersection.
During construction, deliveries and garbage pickup for businesses east of the intersection are in coordination with the project team for service. Both sidewalks along Lincoln Lane North will remain open for trolley and delivery access. Pedestrian access to businesses will be maintained throughout all the work. Both pedestrian and vehicular access will be maintained for the 1661 Pennsylvania Avenue garage.
Timeline
This work will take approximately two weeks to complete. The contractor will work between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please note schedules may change due to weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
