ABA Advocacy Needed
A Resolution that will increase the MCO ABA reimbursement rate with the hope it helps to increase access to much needed ABA services for our youth, is currently sitting in committee and was not included in the recently passed budget. We are encouraging outreach to the representatives below to support this need.

Below is a template email you are more than welcome to copy and paste and send to legislators. You can also copy and paste the email addresses below the template as well for ease and accessibility.

Assemblyman Dancer and Senator Thompson have submitted a budget resolution calling for “$12.5 million to increase the NJ FamilyCare managed care reimbursement rate for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)."
On behalf of [insert your name and/or organization), this resolution will help more children access desperately needed ABA services that are currently unavailable simply due to the inadequacy of the Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and service-killing existing compensation rates for ABA services.
The families affected have suffered enough, watching their children regress behaviorally and academically, especially in this last year. This modest fiscal allotment will help to increase access to much needed services. Otherwise this vital window of opportunity will be lost and cause much greater fiscal investment for the State as these children mature into adulthood!
Sincerely,
