Action Needed on HB 1593

HB 1593-FN: Recreation Bill relative to funding for developmental services community integration. This bill establishes a developmental services community integration fund in the department of health and human services to support individuals with developmental disabilities. Also referred to as the "Recreation Bill" this bill was introduced to assist individuals and families with the cost of integrated recreational opportunities that are no longer covered through Center for Medicaid Services (CMS).
The Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs Committee will be voting on HB 1593 on Valentine's Day in their Executive Session. PLEASE NOTE: No testimony will be heard at this time, but you can still make an impact by SENDING AN EMAIL! Helpful links have been provided below.
