VOLUNTEERS needed on Saturdays in Gwinnett & Hall Counties!

YOUR volunteer time and efforts are needed on Saturday, July 26th!  Sign up today!

GALEO, along with other civic engagement groups, are teaming up to begin working for a great 2014 election season which will see an increase in voter engagement of communities who normally do not go out to vote.  Latino voters tend to vote in Presidential elections but do not go out to vote in midterm election years.  2014 is one of those and we can make a difference if our communities turn out to vote!

YOUR help is needed. Su VOTO Es Su Voz!

Help us protect Latino voters' civil rights!  Donate whatever amount you can to the Latino Voter Defense Fund.
GLV2012 La Vision We have raised over $15,000.00 and we will be moving forward this year with litigation against the City of Gainesville.  The city has an at-large voting process which dilutes the Latino community's ability to select candidates of choice and depresses the Latino vote in Gainesville and Hall County.  GALEO strongly believes that this situation is in violation of the Voting Rights Act and will be seeking relief in 2014 from federal courts.  Please contribute to this effort to help us cover our non-legal costs for our experts.  Every donation counts!  You may donate by following this link here!  Thank you!
