Spokane’s City Council is considering rule changes, including increasing sponsorship requirements, limiting public testimony, and moving meetings to Tuesdays. However, thanks to widespread advocacy efforts, including a pivotal editorial by SBA CEO Gavin Cooley published in the Spokesman-Review, the Council is unlikely to move forward with these changes.
