Advocacy News: Stop Human Trafficking Presentation
Wilmington Hadassah, Jewish Family Services, and the Siegel Jewish Community Center present STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING, Featuring a Panel of Experts

The program will feature Chana Pollack, the archivist of The Forward, who will share letters from the Bintel Brief, a Yiddish advice column starting in the early 1900s in New York City, detailing the trafficking of immigrants to the United States. In addition, Maria Hennessy, JFS RISE Case Manager (Refugee Integration and Support efforts) will discuss how JFS is helping individuals who have been trafficked in our state. Finally, Mary McDonough, Policy Director of DATAC (Delaware Anti-Trafficking Action Council), will explain how HB 398, known as February & Amy's Act and signed into law by Governor Carney this past August, will be a game-changer for the victims of sex and labor trafficking here in Delaware.
