We have good news to report on our effort to improve the State Historic Tax Credit. HB1555 was advanced by the House Revenue and Tax Committee on April 13 with an amendment to increase the annual State HTC cap from $4 million to $8 million per fiscal year. We are happy with this compromise.

Rep. Joe Jett ran the bill in the House of Representatives yesterday, and it passed with a vote of 92-0!

The Senate Revenue and Tax Committee will consider HB1555 at its meeting next Monday, April 19.
