On July 16, the OCC wrote to each provincial Cabinet minister, outlining a blueprint to execute over the next four years to make Ontario open for business. 

The OCC's blueprint includes policy asks where immediate action is required to support business and foundational recommendations
for long-term prosperity.

Marijuana is set to be legalized for recreational use as of October 17, 2018.  Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS)  has developed a document to highlight what employees need to know to clear the haze surrounding marijuana in the workplace.

ACOC Annual General Meeting (AGM) *Members Only*
The AGM gives the Aurora Chamber of Commerce an opportunity to communicate with members and demonstrate  organizational accountability  while fulfilling the legal requirement of a not-for-profit organization under the  Incorporations Act of Ontario . It also enables members to  participate in the governance  of the Aurora Chamber by electing the  Board of Directors .

Please join us for lunch with Deputy Premier, Minister of Health and Long Term Care, The Honourable Christine Elliott where she will provide an update from the Government of Ontario followed by a question period. Advance registration is required.

Municipal Election Event
Join us for a Mayoral Debate, and meet the candidates nominated for Aurora Council Positions to hear their campaign messages. All registered candidates for the office of Mayor and Councillor will be invited to attend. This event is free and open to all Aurora residents.
