August is National Multiethnic Donor Awareness Month

Unity creates community. And together we can make a huge difference. August is National Multiethnic Donor Awareness Month. Of the nearly 1,300 Coloradans waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant, nearly half on the transplant waitlist are from multiethnic communities.

National Multiethnic Donor Awareness Month is observed nationally the entire month of August. It is dedicated to save and improve the quality of life of multiethnic communities by creating a positive culture for organ, eye and tissue donation.

2025 Donor Dash- Thank You!

Nearly 5,000 people came together to honor, celebrate and recognize those impacted by organ and tissue donation. Thank you to each of you for your support- near and far! DDS: Colorado Vibes Donate Life Game- Colorado Springs, CO

We are excited to once again participate in the Rocky Mountain Vibes Game on Friday, August 29 at UCHealth Park. We are looking for 4 ADvocates to help support the Donor Alliance table at the event to talk to fans about organ, eye and tissue donation, sharing resources and handing out swag! DDS: Liver Life Walk- Castle Rock, CO

The Liver Life Walk is a signature event for our partners a tthe American Liver Foundation. Providing an inspirational and festive enviornment, Liver Life Walk event give participants an opportunity to come together and raise awareness and funds in support of the liver community. Donor Alliance looks forward to hosting a table in their expo area to educate and inspire their participants to sign up on the donor registry and hand out swag! DDS: CSU Donate Life Game- Fort Collins, CO

Come join us as we partner with the CSU Rams for a Donate Life game on September 20th! We are looking for four Advocates to help engage with fans through interactive booth activities, distribute educational materials, and encourage individuals to register as donors. Advocates may also share personal stories and help spark meaningful conversations with attendees. To sign up, click here.

DDS: Cool Science Carnival- Colorado Springs

The Cool Science Carnival is a celebration of all things STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math). We are expecting around 8,000 kids and parents to come through this fun event. We will be setting up a table and talking with families about the lifesaving and healing benefits of organ, eye and tissue donation for transplantation. This event has 2 shifts. DDS: Air Force Football Donate Life Night

*Exact Time is still TBD. We are excited to once again partner wit hteh Air Force Falcons for a Donate Life game day to support organ, eye and tissue donation on September 27 against Hawai'i. We are looking for four Advocates to help support the Donate Life table at the event and chat with fans about the importance of donation.
