Wyoming to Be Declared a Donate Life Community! |
We are thrilled to announce that the State of Wyoming will soon be the declared the 2nd Donate Life State in the country! This could not have been accomplished without each and every one of our Advocates for Life. To celebrate, we invite you to join us at the State Proclamation and a reception immediately following. You can click the yellow "Read More" to access the invitation and RSVP.
And that's not all! We are also thrilled to share that the City of Casper will also be declared a Donate Life Community! You are also invited to join us at that proclamation as well on Tuesday, October 3rd at 6:00pm at The Lyric. We hope that you will join the Casper Mayor, City Council and Donor Alliance for the Donate Life Community Proclamation. A separate e-mail invitation will be e-mailed to you this week. September is National DMV Appreciation Month! |
National DMV Appreciation Month occurs in September each year and is a time for the Donate Life Community to say thank you and show its appreciation of DMV partners across the country through national and local events and outreach.
This is a time where we say "thank you" to the DMV and Driver Services staff in Colorado and Wyoming for registering 99% of donors in both states each year. Without this key partnership

DDS: Mini Con Aurora *Donate Life Community
Calling all Comic Con fans! This free family-friendly event includes superheroes, comic-themed crafts and activities, panel discussions, exhibits, gaming and a cosplay costume contest. This year's event will feature over 50 vendors, multiple food trucks, special guests and more! We are looking for two Advocates for each shift to help staff a DDS table to interact with families in attendance. This event will take place on the Aurora Great Lawn and a tent will be provided. DDS: Levitt Pavilion Concert Series- Indie 102. 3 Presents Lido Pimienta
Indie 102.3 presents Divinae Feminae, a free Latin concert event celebrating sounds from global phenomenon's Lido Pimienta, Katiria and Lolita. Come hang out with the Indie 102.3 team as we celebrate Latin Heritage Month at Levitt Pavilion on Friday, September 29th. As always, Donate Life Colorado will be there educating the community about the importance of organ and tissue donation with our booth full of information and surprises. DDS: Cool Science Carnival
The 2023 Cool Science Carnival Day at UCCS in Colorado Springs is just around the corner! This hugely popular event typically attracts over 5,000 attendees and features dozens of demonstrations, shows, performances, laboratory tours, interactive exhibits and hands on activities for kids (K-8th grade). We are looking for 3 Advocates per shift to work alongside our Transplantation Science educators to interact with families in attendance. To sign up, click here. |

DDS & Parade: UW Homecoming Game vs. New Mexico
This year, as part of our partnership with UW, we will have a DDS table near the Veterans Memorial Statue which is in line with the War Memorial Stadium entrance gates. We are being given this special location and recognition pre-game.
